Episode 48: Perplexing Plurals

Hoooray for 1,000 of your faces!!!

Aryn of Bling Your String is very graciously donating one of her Three Month Project Pouch Club memberships as a prize!  As soon as the Ravelry group hits 1,000 members, I’ll open up a thread in the group! (Really with the exclamation marks, but you know they are totally justified!)

Five copies of Slippery by Sara Dupuis have been donated by the designer!

A thread is open in the group and I’ll draw winners on the morning of January 28!

I finished eight ounces of Dorset for the Knit Spin Farm podcast’s Rare Breed SAL

I am working on a mixed corriedale from Gale’s Art

Finished Objects:

Slippery by Sarah Dupuis in MarigoldJen’s 100% Superwash Merino in the Bronzite colorway on US 5’s

Goth Cowl by Sadie Bellegarde in handspun from fiber by Handspun by Stefania on US 8’s

Works In Progress:

Walpole by Hannah Fettig in Beaverslide Dry Goods 2-ply Sock Swift Fox colorway on US 3’s, mostly (the sleeves are on US 2’s and I’ll be working the yoke on 2’s primarily as well)

Sunday Morning Slippers by Lara Neel in Blue Acorn Fibers Bulky rug yarn held double on US 13’s

Shur’Tugal by Alice Yu in Another Crafty Girl’s Strong Sock, Prince of the Cosmos colorway on US 0’s

Thank You’s:

Thank  you to the dyers behind Oh Loops for their donation a skein of fingering weight superwash merino in their Little Stargazer colorway.  I will be knitting up some hats for the Halos of Hope Camp Happy Times soon!  If you are interested in the KAL with Oh Loops you can find more information on their blog.

I hope you don’t think I’m a total whacko but I know exactly what you mean about “rank” stinkin’ shoes! Uggs are ridiculously expensive and I ruined my first pair by barefootin’ stinky feet 😦 Well a friend gave me her “secret” as to why her Uggs never get smelly. She wears deodorant on her feet! and YES it works!!! I’ve been using it ever since and have 2 pair of Uggs that i wear all winter with NO smell!! 🙂

I don’t think you’re a whacko at all! I’ve also learned that you can have them dry cleaned!
