I love the video! You have great energy. I can’t wait to see the next one. 🙂

Oh, I just love you, friend! Bravo!

I wasn’t sure what to expect — I’ve never really watched video podcasts and thought it might be awkward – like ‘American Idol’ kinda awkward. But I worried for nothing, because you are as charming on video as you are in real life. I laughed out loud repeatedly – “putting them together…putting them together” !

I loved your shout-outs to all of your colleagues in the craft – Elizabeth Zimmerman and the knit girls with their addictive wares and kate gilbert’s “slick pattern”. It is obvious that this is not just some random self-promotion but rather your heart’s passion.

Thank you so much Amanda! I was originally going to try just blogging, but after several attempts, it has become clear that my writing is for sure American Idol outtakes awkward. I think I’m going to roll with the vlogging instead.
Best brush up on your knitting skills, because next visit, you’re going to be my special guest!!!!

Girl you are a natural I LOVED this and I cannot wait for your next video <3!! Don't forget us small folks when you become #1! Because you WILL!
OK I kid you not that I always tell my husband if I ever dye my hair I would love red and your hair is gorgeous!! I freakin' love it! I'm commenting as I watch so maybe you say at the end but are you on G+, Plurk, twitter?
I enjoyed your 1st podcast. GOOD JOB!

Thank you SO much suezeeknits….That’s a terribly nice thing for a stranger to say! I’m a natural carrot top, but I’ve recently enhanced my color with Henna….It’s all natural and really does condition your hair wonderfully, plus, it’s totally cheap and you can do it at home!

I just signed up with Plurk under thefatsquirrel and I look forward to using the site once I figure it out!

I must take full responsibility for your new addiction once you do figure it out. LOL Sorry! hehe

I had so much fun watching your first episode, well done. I really enjoy the natural colors as well, I plan on checking out the folks you mentioned. I think for two months experience, your spinning is really nice. You got very good yardage for that 4 ozs and it will make a pretty cowl.

Thank you so much Bev….I must say, I kind of wish I had a giant time-line with examples of what one might expect from her spinning over time all laid out. But then again, sometimes I can be a little uptight….Thanks for watching and even more for commenting!

You are absolutely hilarious and awesome and when I grow up I want to be you.

You are definitely my choice of candy bar. WIN.

My husband found THE DUDE pattern and really wants me to make it for him. Are you going to show us yours? 🙂 I’ve never knit a sweater before. I’m not opposed to it. I’m just opposed to spending that much money on yarn at one time!

Hahaha, well, luckily my husband is super skinny, and I bought that Cascade Eco Wool right before their price went up. I really like the finished project, but it was 1X1 rib with colorwork, which was a bit tricky.

Here I am. I told you after I thoroughly enjoyed Episode 4 that I was going to begin from the beginning.
You and I, and the majority of others watch podcasts for the inspiration and motivation.
I enjoy most every project, yarn and bag any podcaster has ever shown.
    I must have.
    I am a sheep.
    I am a follower
    on to Episode 3
    hugs
    Gerry

Hahahaha Gerry…I just finished watching the KnitGirllls’ latest and had to fight myself not to purchase something they mentioned….It’s just all so flippin’ pretty!

Where on earth have you been? You should have been podcasting ages ago. Magnificent – your wit is so quick, I feel like I need to rewatch the episode! Your energy and personality just burst forth. And they say only CORN grows in Indiana!
Could you podcast every day, please?

  15. thefatsquirrel Post author

Oh my goodness the niceness you have, Randi! Thank you so much for your encouragement and I hope you will join our new Ravelry group!

  16. Ed Handy

Well, after hearing about your video blog, your mother and I just had to check it out. Granted, I don’t know jack about knitting, but I do know talent, wit, and energy when I see it.

You’ve got it all, and I am proud to call you my daughter!

Keep it up, you’ll go far, and YES, we”ll be watching.

(nobody paid me or threatened me to say these things either…:-D )

Of course, your Mom thinks you’re pretty awesome as well!

    Love you,

    Mr. Ed Handy (aka: Dad)
