Hello all! Thanks for waiting a little bit longer for the episode this week. I’ll keep show notes to a minimum for no other reason than I have dinner on the stove!
What’s new:
I’ve just started the Twigs and Willows cardigan by Alano Dakos from her new book Botanical Knits. I’m knitting mine in Fat Squirrel Fibers (shop to be opened soon!) 100% Superwash BFL on US 4’s.
Fiber Events I mentioned:
Carolina Fiber Frolic March 22 and 24
The Fiber Event April 19th and 20th
Knitting Pipeline Retreat April 26th and 27th
Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival May 18th and 19th
Love, love, love the new blog header! So fun, so sassy!
I Love your new logo!!!
LOVE the new header/log/whathaveyou!!
Thank you Carolyn, NerdGirl and Sarah! I would love to pretend I am at all artistically talented, but truthfully, my friend Neil is due all the credit!
Thank you for the kick in the pants to send in my KP registration! You’d think I would have done it a month ago since I LIVE HERE, but I am a procrastinator like that. Anyway, I’ll say hi when I see you at the big church!
Love the podcast, you’re awesome. And quit apologizing for the shamless self-promotion. People who enjoy listening to you will also enjoy seeing what you’re up to making for your Etsy shop. Your bags are totally cute and I love the idea of dying “bag inspired yarns” to go with them. Genius!
Looking forward to meeting you, Nicole!
Love the new header! Can’t wait to see your shop and the goodies…………..
I have a cross stitch retreat the same time as the knitting pipeline retreat, but I am thinking if I can, I may attempt to visit the Greencastle fiber event. Looks like fun and I would love to say hi in person. I really enjoy your podcast and am very happy for you that it has taken off and done so well. I bet your shop will be successful as well, cuz you are so darn cute and fun.
